The technique of sculpting ceramics offers considerable flexibility – what you create is entirely up to you. It could be a new favorite mug, bowl, or plate, or even a figurine or other sculptural form.

In the first two classes, you'll learn hand-sculpting techniques and create objects based on your own design. The third session focuses on dry retouching, and in the final session, the pieces are decorated with colored pigments (or "ceramic paints") and coated with clear or white glaze. After the course, they will be fired at 1250°C, making them food-safe and dishwasher-safe. All your creations will become your property.

  • Duration and group size

    This course consists of four two-hour sessions once a week. Workshops are held on specific days, in small groups of 7-8 people (including the facilitator).

  • Collection of finished works

    The resulting works can be collected 3-4 weeks after the end of the course.
